  1. Don’t forget Gigaget, its like flashget only with more features for the advanced user.

    BTW – Download managers have grown out of the old Dial Up speed helper into being great for picking up speed in grabbing files from mirrors and free file hosting sites like MegaUpload, etc etc. Really speeds up downloads from the free file hosting sites.

    no seriously its a great download manager and integrates in all major browsers + it has a community that sometimes warns you if you are downloading a virus or sumthing

    Thanks for the heads-up, Madcama. I’m pretty sure .net used to work when I first added Flashget to this page, but that domain apparently went unrenewed since then.

    works in IE & FF – grabs Flash & .flv, but is also fast ‘regular’ DL-manager.
