		<description>So does that mean that actors, CEO&#039;s and other titans of business and popularity should not be showered with gifts and attention?  This is such a complex subject with so many corollary facts and pseudo facts - and a populace that is incapable of analyzing any of it.  Books like this can talk about the lunacy of our modern pecking orders we all live by, but it will take &quot;the masses&quot; to change it - and they are not up to the task - unless Oprah tells them how....</description>

		<description>Good review, but I think you&#039;re misinterpreting one point: Gladwell doesn&#039;t say that that ability doesn&#039;t matter. He says that it takes a combination of ability AND opportunity to become an outlier. Neither is sufficient by itself.</description>
