Yes. I'm on an utterly infuriating internet connection here. There is an 8 GB/month download limit, only 4 GB of which is for "peak hours", and when peak hours go from 8 in the morning until 1 in the morning, it's essentially a 4 GB/month connection. Once we're over the limit, which takes about 4 days of standard usage, we go back to dial-up speeds, which in practice means that pages load at or under 1 KB/sec, if they load at all. So rather than spend 5-10 minutes trying to find and load the WWZ review, I commented on the first post I saw. Feel free to move the original comment and delete this one if you'd prefer to keep things tidy. (I should also note that this isn't my house and I have no control over the internet account.)

And back on to God is Dead, on further reflection there is a lot that could have been improved with it that I didn't consider at first. But I still quite liked it, and thought it's slight similarity to WWZ warranted it being mentioned, as WWZ is one of the three best books I've read as a result of your 52-in-52.

Out of curiosity, is there a reason you told me this in a Bill Bryson review instead of the World War Z review?

(I will look into it, btw)

Have you heard of a book called God is Dead? It's sort of similar to World War Z, but dealing instead with, as you may well have guessed, the world in the aftermath of the death of God. It's not quite as good as World War Z in my opinion, but still worth a read.
