It's a pretty wacky mix. Tea Party is hard-rockish indie from Canada—some similarities to Pearl Jam. Pain of Salvation is progressive rock from Sweden, though the listed song is from an acoustic album. Mogwai is hard postrock. Vetiver is... well, I don't know what the hell Vetiver is. The Kim Won Il is an orchestral song from the soundtrack for an blended anime movie called Wonderful Days. Neutral Milk Hotel is solidly indie (appropriate for fans of the Decemberists, and vice versa). Shadows Fall is thrash. I don't even like it anymore, but I still have the CD, which I bought in my very distant love affair with Century Media. Fiona Apple should be an obvious one, though "Window" is from her new album. Silverchair is rock from Australia—"Emotion Sickness" is cool because it features Daniel Helfgott (of Shine fame) on piano.
