A laptop running OpenOffice on Linux

Season 1, episode 16. You can tell it’s OpenOffice on Linux not just because of the look, but because it uses the “Nimbus Roman” font.

  1. Rusty says:

I’ve watched that episode twice, and both times I’ve thought: “Hey that looks like OpenOffice. I’ll have to go back and check when it’s finished.” Both times I forgot, so I’m glad someone finally did it.

  2. Another Reason to Watch House — They Use OpenOffice.org on Linux!…

From A Modest Construct Season 1, episode 16. Of course, it’s version 1.x but that was the only thing out then. I love House—watched Hugh Laurie in Black Adder and never would have guessed he had this side to him….

I wish the screenshot was a little better, but Print Scrn doesn’t work with video overlays, and MPC only takes screenshots that are the actual resolution of the video, not the size of the screen.

  4. rob says:

Pretty sure MPC has two screenshot functions, one video-sized and one screen-sized.

  5. Ben says:

Could be. But it was late, and I wanted to throw this image up before I kicked off.
