And here I thought the fad was over.

BROOKLYN CENTER, Minnesota (AP) — Police shut down a suburban shopping mall Saturday after screaming fans of the boy band B5 rushed the stage during a free concert, grabbing at the band members’ clothing and overwhelming the small team of security guards.

More than 2,000 fans, mostly teenage girls, had converged on Brookdale Center mall for the show, sponsored by the local Radio Disney station, KDIZ-AM. The band had made it to the second song when the chaos broke out.

You see, this is why no one respects teenage girls.

Eeew. Boy bands are so over. At this major shopping centre near us, they used to always have boy bands and screaming girls who ran after them. I really hope some of it was hype (the girls being paid to scream and act like loonies over them)… I hate boy bands.

Boy bands are so still in!! And B5 is the hottest! I’ve been to the Scream IV Tour and I know why they jumped on stage and did all that! I wouldn’t do it though cause a true fan would never hurt them!!
