Tom Cruise and fiancee Katie Holmes are expecting a baby six months into a whirlwind romance that has turned the once intensely private Cruise into a giddy and very public lover.

News of the pregnancy was first reported by People magazine Wednesday. A statement from Cruise’s publicist, his sister Lee Anne DeVette, added: “Tom and Katie are very excited, and the entire family is very excited.” Holmes, she said, “has never felt better.”

You know what would really make my day? If Katie ended up suffering from severe postpartum depression. I would smile for days.

Thats a little harsh don’t you think?

  2. Ben says:

After the shit Tom said about Brook Shields, I don’t think so.

Yeah, I’d love to see Tom’s reaction to that situation. The marriage would definitely collapse under the beautiful hilarity of it all; it would suck for poor Katie, but she’s never commented about Tom’s delusional rantings publicly, has she? If not, this would certainly give her an opportunity to speak her mind about.

  4. Ben says:

Katie’s “getting into” Scientology. In some ways, it would be unfair for Katie’s suffering being Tom’s karmic bitchslap, but on the other hand, she’s not a child, and she’s willfully ignorant of how much of a silly prat Tom is, so she deserves what’s coming.

  5. Lina says:

Yup, I agree with your last sentence there, Ben. However, even if she does go completely bonkers, sadly we’d never hear about it. :(

  6. Iris says:

Haha, that’s so mean… yet it would be friggin’ funny and justice.. to Tom. Bad for Kate though.
