When they released their self-titled album, fans everywhere ate it up. People could not wait for them to bring back the kind of thunderous grooves that drove this album to success. Fast forward a year or two, and the disappointing "Awake" is like the first album played in reverse. I swear they just used ctrl-x and ctrl-v to write that album, musically and lyrically. "Faceless" was the exact same song and dance. By the third album, Godsmack had proven that they knew how to milk a once-pretty-decent idea. Colby N.
